The French systems integrator giant has sold off the contact-centre-as-a-service (CCaaS) specialist Capgemini has offloaded its contact-centre-as-a-service unit, Odigo, to private equity firm Apax Partners. The global systems integrator first bought Odigo from the same London-based PE company nine years ago for €382m. Odigo is an omni-channel cloud platform SaaS business founded in 1986 that focuses on the enterprise market. It claims to have around 650 employees, and support more than 400,000 users and 200 customers in nearly 100 countries. Capgemini chief portfolio officer, Franck Greverie, said the France-headquartered giant will continue to use Odigo's services.
