<p>Canada is a large exporter of low API grade crude referred to as heavy crude oil, most of which comes from Canada&rsquo;s bituminous Oil Sands deposits.</p> <p>To deal with the lack of fluid-flow of Canadian heavy oil and bitumen, some oil production is partially refined to produce synthetic crude, which creates more fluidity.</p>
