The world's largest hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates, is known for its culture of radical transparency. Bridgewater employees are required to rate each other on roughly 90 different capabilities and skills to determine each team member's strengths and weaknesses, the firm's co-CEO Eileen Murray told attendees of Context Summits' Miami conference. Bridgewater, which manages $160 billion, was one of the few in the industry to provide positive returns to investors in 2018, posting a 14.6% return in its flagship fund.
