Beacon Capital paid $179m for the property in 2017.: Columbia Property Trust has confirmed the acquisition of the 201 California Street office building in San Francisco. Columbia Property said it has agreed to buy the 272,000sqft office tower in San Francisco’s financial district from Beacon Capital Partners for $239m, exclusive of closing costs. The property was owned by the value-add Beacon Capital Strategic Partners Fund 7 fund. According to public records, Beacon Capital paid $179m for the property in 2017.
