The VP will implement plans which may include value add opportunities and will be responsible for driving the financial performance of their portfolio. The VP works closely with the asset management team, property management, operations, and accounting to monitor daily property operations, implement investment strategies, and obtain and/or provide information necessary for decision making.
This position requires minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or Real Estate or equivalent professional work experience.
At least 3 years prior experience in Skilled Nursing, multifamily and / or student housing real estate management in an operator or institutional environment.
Experience in construction management and oversight of value add renovations preferred.
Candidate should possess excellent project management skills, ability to prioritize tasks and maintain numerous projects.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat are required.
Advanced Excel skills required. Candidate must be able to develop and work with complex multi-page spreadsheets and workbooks.
Familiarity with revenue management software a plus.• Thorough understanding of finance concepts such as NOI, cash on cash returns, IRR, present value, discounted cash flow is required.
Candidate must have excellent analytical skills, problem solving skills, and ability to obtain, process and analyze financial data. Solid accounting skills are necessary.
Ability to effectively & professionally meet client expectations and positively represent the Company.
Candidate should be self-motivated with ability to work both autonomously and with a team and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
