Dartmouth College is seeking the right person as a key member to the investment operations team, to assist in administration of Dartmouth’s endowment and other investment pools. Specific portfolio administration and operational duties include day to day implementation for investment operations processes, controls, and systems, with a specific focus on systems integration and technology solutions. This will initially include joint administration for the private investment portfolio including responsibilities such as daily transactional and reconciliation activity, review and recording of investment valuations, and supporting operational due diligence reviews. Additionally, this role will serve as a dedicated internal expert for reviewing and recommending opportunities for systems integration, improved controls for data integrity and reconciliations, and emerging technology solutions to enhance automation and efficiencies in investment operations functions. The role will also be responsible for relationship management with key vendors/services providers,  related audit and compliance responsibilities, and project management initiatives in support of investment operations functions.

Qualifications:
Bachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of general investment principles and characteristics of various asset classes, including private equity and hedge funds.
Experience in investment operations and/or accounting.
Experience with common investment technology solutions, or related systems or data workflows to drive integration, automation and efficiencies 
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail
Teamwork orientation
Proven ability to lead projects or new initiatives from start to completion
Advanced quantitative and analytical skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experience with institutional investments, preferable
Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), with specific regard for investments or common investment technology solutions, preferable
