DESCRIPTION | Founded in 1887, the Kamehameha Schools is a statewide, private educational system, established to provide opportunities to improve the capability and well-being of people of Native Hawaiian ancestry. This mission-driven work is made possible by a $12 billion trust, endowed by school founder Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop. As part of the endowment group, the Financial Assets Division is charged with supporting the growth and operations of the Kamehameha Schools through successful management of a globally diversified portfolio, comprised of both traditional and alternative asset classes. We are currently seeking an Investment Analyst to provide analytical support in collaboration with the entire investment team. Analysts will hone their investing skills by working alongside senior team members across all asset classes, with regular opportunities to interact with a roster of the world’s leading investment fund managers. Analysts will enjoy compensation practices that are competitive with national leading Endowments and Foundations (a starting salary of $100k plus bonus opportunity, as well as an attractive benefits package) and career growth opportunities for successful Analysts. Job Summary Provide analytical support on a diversified global portfolio of marketable and private equities, fixed income, real assets, and absolute return strategies. Work in collaboration with the entire investment team to conduct research, perform complex and non-routine quantitative and qualitative analyses, build financial models and capture information from external managers and markets. Contribute to internal dialogue on investment decision-making. Generate reports on portfolio and investment manager performance. Essential Responsibilities
