The Investment office of Ludwig Institute For Cancer Research is seeking to hire a Director of Investment who will report to CIO. Ludwig Institute is one of the largest global cancer research organizations in the world.

Position Overview

This position is an unique opportunity to work in a small, flat investment organization that has generated strong long-term performance. The portfolio is invested globally with external managers and across a broad range of asset classes and strategies, including: public equity, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate, fixed income, etc. The ideal candidate is a creative investor who can find and invest with world class investment managers to deliver superior returns.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or MBA in any discipline; CFA preferred but not necessary; 5+ years of experience at comparable organizations preferred, extensive private equity experience a plus; the desire to work in a small, collaborative environment where you can quickly make an impact; superior oral and written communication skills; a passion for investing; strong quantitative and analytical skills; sound judgment and extremely selective; intellectual curiosity; personal and professional integrity; ability to prioritize; work independently and develop innovative ideals on improving investment performance
