Trusted Insight hosted an LP lunch in Chicago with Mike Jones and Peter Pham, co-founders of Science Inc., an incubator of disruptive consumer companies. Science's incubator has had five exits in the past 4 years, including a one billion dollar exit from Dollar Shave Club. Attendees include senior investment professionals from top family offices, endowments, and foundations. This was an enlightening discussion on the evolution of consumer investing and how incubators are disrupting the venture capital asset class. Mike and Peter highlighted top trends in early stage venture such as the rise of mobile and advent of AI/ML-driven technologies.
