Korean Hedge Fund Conference

The Westin Chosun Hotel, Seoul, Korea

June 2012
14
8:30AM - 5:30PM Thursday
In 2011, Korea’s Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) announced the opening of the Korean financial market to allow hedge funds to operate. Korea’s financial firms, investment advisors, and institutional investors accordingly have worked to position themselves to capitalize on this new opportunity. In December 2011, the FSC allowed hedge funds to establish and operate in Korea and have revised regulations to allow Korean investors to place funds in overseas hedge funds. Hosted by Korea Capital Market Institute (KCMI) & Financial Services Commission (FSC), Financial Supervisory Service (FSS), and the New York Hedge Fund Roundtable (NYHFR) at the exclusive The Westin Chosun Hotel in Seoul, the Korean Hedge Fund Conference will feature the most important voices in the Korean economy today. Gotham Orient Partners and Alternative Assets are the event organizers. The conference provides a select group of hedge fund managers, investors, and government officials with a unique networking opportunity during which key matters of common interest will be addressed. The conference itself is one full day, but additional days of private, one-on-one investment meetings and optional tours are available.
