Sudhir Rajkumar will succeed Carolyn Boykin as chief investment officer of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund. In an August 24 article, Trusted Insight accurately named Rajkumar as one of the top 10 candidates to fill the position.

Rajkumar brings nearly three decades of global investment experience to his new role, which is formally called Representative of the Secretary‑General for the investment of the assets of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund.

He currently leads the global pension advisory program at the World Bank Treasury and serves on the Investment Committee of the United Nations Office for Project Services, among others. It was for these characteristics and experiences that Trusted Insight selected Rajkumar as a likely candidate for the role.

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres announced the appointment on Oct. 19, 2017. Rajkumar’s start date was not immediately disclosed.
