Prior to AEC, Derrick helped oversee the day-to-day portfolio management of approximately $2 billion of diverse real asset and private equity investments at the Missouri State Employees’ Retirement System (MOSERS). He holds a BS in Finance from Northwest Missouri State University.
Dan Parker is an investment officer at the Helmsley Charitable Trust. He is responsible for strategy development, general research, manager research and portfolio construction in the alternatives and inflation-sensitive segments of the Trust’s investment program. Prior to joining the Trust, Dan was a vice president in private equity at BlackRock. Before that, he was an investment banking associate at Citigroup where he closed more than $20 billion worth of transactions across the capital structure. Parker began his career serving as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He received an MBA from the College of William and Mary and a B.A. from Tulane University.

Since Oct. 2008, Ben Wall has served as director of alternative investment at the Texas A&M Foundation. Previously, he was the senior investment analyst at AIG Investments and worked as audit staff at Ernst & Young. He graduated with a B.S. in accounting and a M.S. with accounting from Texas A&M University and Texas A&M University's Mays Business School.
