Thomas Sorell is executive vice president and chief investment officer of Guardian and Guardian subsidiaries. He is responsible for the firm’s investment policy and strategies for more than $65 billion in assets. This includes investments in both public and private equity, fixed income, and commercial real estate. He is also a director of Lowe Enterprises Investment Management, a national real estate investment services and fund management company. Sorell holds an MBA in finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a B.A. from Colgate University. He has a Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and is a member of the CFA Institute.
