Salomon Konig Founder, Managing Partner of the Talisman Family Alliance Co-Founding Managing Partner, Founder of Inversiones.com, LLC 2005 to 2010 Mr. Konig was a Managing Member, CIO of Artemis Capital Partners, LLC and Managing Partner, CIO of Hollander Asset Management, LLC a Family Office, and Partner, CIO of Aquila Associates Family Office, LLC Mr. Konig has a finance and investment career that spans 29 years in the U.S. and Latin America. He is a member of the Board of Directors of The Hedge Fund Association. In 1976, Mr. Konig managed a family fund trading options and futures portfolios. During the two years that followed, he was the CEO of the Commodities Futures Centre, a hedge fund incubation organization. In early 1979, Mr. Konig was hired as Senior Portfolio Manager of The Directors Fund by the president of E.F. Hutton Commodities, where he remained until 1983. In 1984 Mr. Konig formed distribution partnerships for three prominent hedge funds in the U.S., Kenmar Funds, Princeton Funds, and the Prism Funds. In 1993, he developed a relationship with Patricof Venture Partners in New York, for which he sourced investment opportunities. From 1983 to 1993, Mr. Konig headed a merchant banking venture fund that built a group of financial companies in Latin America. During this period, these companies conducted trading/arbitrage of local equities, primary government bond dealing and other physical commodities, currencies, as well as forward and swap transactions. Two of the companies emerged as financial leaders in Latin America. From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Konig worked as a strategic financial, business and investment consultant. In 2002, Mr. Konig negotiated the merger of North American Institutional Brokers, a securities market making firm, and EquityStation, a direct access and algorithmic trading technology firm, with Westfalia Securities, both market makers and broker/dealers. In 2004, he negotiated the merger of the newly renamed Global Partners Group, Inc., for which he served as Senior Advisor, with vFinance, Inc., a publicly traded securities firm. In 2001 Mr. Konig seeded the Market Wizards Fund in partnership with Jack Schwager. In 2003, he seeded and incubated two hedge funds in partnership with Magnum Funds of Aventura, Florida -- Chaparral and G2. In 2004, he seeded and formed an investment partnership with Roger Ibbotson, CEO of Ibbotson Associates of Chicago, Illinois and Magnum Funds, creating the Magnum Optimized Fund. Mr. Konig received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science. In addition, he attended Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela, where he studied mathematics in the Graduate School.
