Mr. Martino joined the predecessor to LaSalle Capital (LC) as a partner in 1989 and organized Fund I with
Mr. Walters in 2004 and in 2010 Fund II was raised. He currently shares overall management responsibility for LC with
Mr. Walters. LC is a lower middle market private equity firm with $330 million in assets under management located in Chicago. Mr. Martino is responsible for deal generation, overseeing due diligence, deal structuring and negotiation, fundraising and investor relations. Mr. Martino has extensive board level experience working with management in the areas of strategy formulation (including exits strategy), productivity improvement, product-line growth, strategic acquisitions, financing growth and recruitment of senior executives and outside directors. Mr. Martino has 26 years of private equity experience focused on investing in microcap market companies. Mr. Martino also has portfolio company management responsibility for LCG, and currently sits on the Board of Directors of Impex Global and Advantech. He also serves on the boards of National Metalwares, L.P., CP Ventures LLC and Simplex Aerospace.
Prior to joining LC, Mr. Martino was at Price Waterhouse in Chicago from 1978 to 1989, where he was a Partner in the company’s lower middle market practice. Mr. Martino holds a B.B.A in finance from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from Loyola University of Chicago. Mr. Martino is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois and he currently is
on the Board of Edward –Elmhurst Memorial Health System, on the Board of Trustees of Loyola University of Chicago is the Chairman of the Advisory Council for Loyola University of Chicago School of Business, as well as a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.
