Mojgan Skelton
With more than 20 years of experience in the global arena as an international business consultant in banking and trade issues in the Middle East and having headed her own New York-based global consultancy in which she advised U.S. exporters on export compliance, export licensing and international trade-related regulatory matters in the Middle East.
Venture Capital, structuring and raising capital to fund growth, liquidity, and ownership transitions. Extensive relationships across the equity and debt capital markets to optimize the capital structure and fit required to achieve business and growth objectives. she's had the opportunity to work on three continents where she created business opportunities. Her knowledge of diverse cultures gives her a distinct advantage in New York’s multicultural environment.
Outside of her business activities, Mojgan gives generously of her time to various non-profit organizations, calling on her fundraising expertise and business contacts for philanthropic purposes. She is an Executive Board Directore of the World Policy Institute; Chairman of the International Relations and Foreign Policy Committee at the Harvard Club of New York; and a member of the National Arts Club, the Arab Bankers Association of North America, and Ellevate, Global Professional Women Network. Mojgan holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Foreign Policy from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management (with honors) from the University of London. She is fluent in Farsi and English, and conversant in Arabic.
