Mike Schneck
Prior to arriving at Altair, Mr. Schneck was a professional athlete in the National Football League. He entered the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers where he played from 1999 through 2004. From there he played for the Buffalo Bills from 2005 to 2006 where Mr. Schneck was selected to the Pro Bowl after the 2005 season. He went on to play for the Atlanta Falcons from 2007 until his retirement after the 2009 season.
While playing in the NFL, Mr. Schneck gained experience in finance and real estate. He worked as a financial advisor for PNC Advisors from 1999 to 2002. From there he transitioned to commercial real estate at Grubb & Ellis in Pittsburgh. There he obtained his real estate license and worked in the Retail leasing department. In 2002, Mr. Schneck joined Champion Properties, a real estate development company in Canonsburg, PA. There he gained experience evaluating value-added shopping center investments. Most recently, he worked at ECHO Real Estate Developers, a ground-up developer of shopping centers based in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Schneck graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1999 with a B.S. in Personal Finance.
