Marc Jackson
Marc Jackson has 20 years of senior-level experience in theme park development, digital media and interactive entertainment. Marc is a recognized expert in interactive media finance and advises both investors and media companies. Seahorn Capital Group is a FINRA-certified broker-dealer and specialized advisory and investment banking firm, founded in 2008 by Marc Jackson.
As an independent advisor, Marc Jackson and Seahorn have arranged and managed more than $150 million in project and equity financing for clients have included Warner Bros (consumer products and interactive divisions), Eidos Interactive (a video game publisher), Film Finances Inc (a completion bond company) and several small and mid-sized companies in the interactive media and video gaming sectors.
Previously, Marc served as CEO of game developer Player 1 Inc. where he managed partnerships with industry leaders including Sega, Midway, Interplay, and Universal and successfully produced delivered a diverse porfolio console video game titles for the PlayStation and Nintendo platforms. Prior to Player 1, Marc led business development for video game publisher Atari and its parent, Infogrames Entertainment SA (France). Prior to Atari, Marc worked as a strategy consultant to help chart new media strategy for two of Europe’s largest media and television groups, Canal+ and TF1. Marc began his career working for Walt Disney Imagineering as a project manager on the design and construction of the Euro Disneyland theme park.
Marc graduated with a Masters in Business Administration cum laude from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Paris (HEC School of Management, Paris) and Bachelors degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Marc lives in Los Angeles with his family, and is a dual citizen of the US and France.
