Marc Bonavitacola

Marc Bonavitacola joined SVG Advisers in 2003 and is head of US private equity based in Boston. He is responsible for overseeing the analysis and due diligence of US primary and secondary private equity investment opportunities. Prior to joining SVG, he worked at Hamilton Lane, where he was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager. Before Hamilton Lane, Marc was Chief Investment Officer at the City of Philadelphia Board of Pensions and Retirement, where he was responsible for the oversight and administration of the Public Employees Retirement System (US$5 billion) and developed the System’s private equity portfolio. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute. Marc has a BBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University and an MBA from the LeBow School of Business at Drexel University.
