Luke Adrian

Mr. Adrian started his futures career as a runner on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) in 1981, after 3 years of studying how the markets work and charting the markets for several traders on the floor; he then became a local trader in the currency pits of the CME in 1984. He served for several years on the Membership Committee of the CME. After many years as a local trader, Mr. Adrian moved to the operational side of the business and has held the position of VP of Operations for several clearing members of both the CME and Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT).
During the decade beginning March 1999 through October, 2009, Mr. Adrian was among the founders, and Chief Financial Officer of National Collegiate Scouting Association or NCSA Sports. He was also a major shareholder of the company and a member of the executive board. He was instrumental in taking the company from its infancy, to a multimillion dollar business during that time period. He sold his interest in the firm at the end of 2009 to pursue his interests in returning to his business roots in the futures industry and more specifically to focus on the business of managed futures.
On January 28, 2010 he formed Hayden Worldwide, LLC. On March 3, 2010 he became a CFTC approved Principal and on July 1, 2010 the firm was approved as an Independent Introducing Broker and Mr. Adrian became a CFTC Associated Person (“AP”) and NFA Associate Member on that same day. Hayden Worldwide primarily provided brokerage services to commodity pools and the individual managed accounts of commodity trading advisors. Mr. Adrian was the chief Executive of Hayden and was responsible for all business operations.
In order to take the next step in his plan he formed East West Advisors, LLC in March of 2013. On June 4, 2013 East West Advisor was registered as a commodity pool operator. To avoid any conflict of interest he closed his IB to focus solely on the management of East West Advisors
Mr. Adrian is an AP, a registered Principal and NFA Associate Member of East West Advisors, LLC. He is also a Principal of the firm. Mr. Adrian is the chief executive of the firm responsible for all of its business activities that require registration.
He purchased several other futures funds and combined them into his new company in order to jump start this new venture.
Mr. Adrian is a graduate of Wake Forest University. He is Series 3, Series 30 and Series 34 qualified, and lives in Glencoe, IL with his wife and son.
