Kevin Tuttle
With over two decades experience, Tuttle is a Wall Street recognized market technician and largely known for his industry-renowned 100-Year Market Theory. Since its 1st publication in '03, he has concentrated on Fusion Analysis: the unification of technical, fundamental, behavioral and quantitative analysis.
As Chief Strategist he combined his statistical, mathematical and fusion analysis aptitude to develop the firm’s systematic, rules-based, quantitative modeling. This includes TAM's: CTI – Cyclical Trend Indicator, US Equity Tactical Index, and the tactical portfolios offered through TAM’s wholly owned SEC Registered RIA subsidiary: TAM Portfolios. He also engineered TAMP’s real-time portfolio Risk Tracking Software and their Fusion Analysis Weighting System.
Tuttle’s passion not only lies in the systematic risk-controlled methodology of managing assets, but in promoting investor education. Since 2000 he has authored the firm’s primary educational newsletter – The Morning Cup of Jo. From 02-12 Tuttle was the first market technician to write for the Emmy Award winning Minyanville.com with Todd Harrison and penned various whitepapers on fusion analysis. In '06 he co-authored the book "Master Traders; Strategies for Superior Returns from Today's Top Traders,” and most recently, '14, published the book “An Evolutionary Perspective of Investment Risk.”
Tuttle frequently presents at investment seminars speaking on the challenges of mainstream asset allocation, understanding behavioral finance, and linear verses non-linear risk. In '12 he spoke at the Market Technician Association Annual Symposium and has appeared on various public TV and radio outlets.
“The markets will always have something new to teach and we, as fiduciaries to those who depend on our prowess, are not only publically responsible, but morally accountable to continually shift and reinvent our process/methodology to incessantly strive for perfection. We owe it to those who can’t.”
