Private Equity Analyst. Jennifer was born in Nanjing (Jiangsu Province), China, graduated in 2008 from the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business at the University of Pennsylvania. After moving to the U.S. at age three, she has remained very active in the overseas Chinese community in New York and New Jersey, working and fundraising with Chinese schools, non-profit organizations, and individually to help bridge financial and informational gaps between Chinese and Chinese-American students. Her passion has led her to work closely with Dr. Emily Hannum, Professor and Lecturer (Univ. of Pennsylvania, Oxford) on sociology and rural education in China, in researching rural education conditions for her thesis on quality of education in Northwest China. Jennifers past work experiences include staff and office development work for the Opera Solutions Consulting (Shanghai, 2005), coordinating the building and launching of the Small Business Resource Center at the American Chamber of Commerce (Beijing, 2006), and consulting at the Small Business Development Center at Wharton. Currently, besides working on Givology, Jennifer is also a Private Equity analyst at Neuberger Berman Alternative Investments in New York, recently spun-off from Lehman Brothers. She enjoys cooking, yoga, outdoor activities, existential discussions and exploring.
