Janna is a managing partner of Atrato Advisors LLC and merged her own consulting firm, Red Square LLC, into Atrato Advisors in February 2009. Prior to joining Atrato, Janna spent 11 years working in asset management and alternative investment businesses, with an emphasis on quantitative research, risk management, and asset allocation for private and institutional clients. Prior to founding Red Square, Janna led the risk management effort as a senior analyst at Gleacher Fund Advisors LLC. At Gleacher, she was solely responsible for all quantitative analysis and risk management for the firm’s portfolios, and was actively involved in all aspects of qualitative research for the funds’ holdings and potential investments. Prior to joining Gleacher, Janna worked at SAC Capital Advisors, LP within the firm’s Quantitative Risk Analytics group. At SAC, she was responsible for analyzing market, trading, and operational risk for prospective and existing portfolio managers on SAC’s platform. She also had portfolio-level risk management oversight of SAC’s overall multi-strategy platform. Janna graduated magna cum laude from Baruch College with Bachelor of Science in Accounting (1998) while working full-time for Norilsk Nickel Corp. She earned a Master of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University (2002) while working full-time as an associate in JP Morgan’s Private Banking group.
