Hemant Bhardwaj is the Founder & Managing Partner at Taurus Ventures, an early stage VC fund making investments in technology enabled businesses across the USA and Southeast Asia.
Prior to founding Taurus Ventures, Hemant was a Senior Director at Pipedrive and had worked at New Atlantic Ventures, Crossboard Mobile, BR Venture Fund, and Red Bear Angels. Before entering the venture capital industry, Hemant was a Director with the Entrepreneurs Advisory Group at UBS Investment Bank & UBS Wealth Management, where he originated and advised on M&A, equity capital markets, and private placement mandates for both private and public companies. He began his career at Citi as an Investment Analyst advising UHNW clients, endowments, and asset managers on portfolio allocation strategies with a focus on alternative asset classes.
Hemant holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BA from Grinnell College. Hemant has lived and worked in India, Argentina, Thailand, and USA. He serves on Cornell University's Advisory Council for Entrepreneurship@Cornell and currently resides in the
San Francisco Bay Area.
