A career which has spanned over 23 years in financial services and private banking. He was, until recently, a Managing Director of UBS Warburg helping to establish their European onshore private banking business. From 1996-1999 he was Chief Executive of the offshore businesses of Coutts Group. From 1978-1996 he worked for J.P. Morgan in New York, Brussels, London, and Paris, most recently as Managing Director in charge of JPM‘s onshore private banking business in Europe. In addition to his private banking experience, he has a broad experience in the offshore trust business, the foreign exchange and money markets, and various areas of investment and commercial banking. He is an honours graduate of Williams College (1975), a graduate of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (1977), a member of the Board of International Overseers of Tufts University and of Trustees of the Mac Jannet Foundation. He has lived in Zurich for the past six years with his wife and daughter.
