Over nearly two decades, Chris has been actively involved in sourcing, vetting and allocating capital to managers across various asset classes globally including equities, fixed income, hedge funds and private equity. He has been performing due diligence on value oriented managers for 19 years and for the last decade has been principally focused on emerging value managers in long only and long biased equity strategies globally with an emphasis on Asia and North America. Over that time, Chris has developed a broad network of investment managers around the world. He has traveled extensively particularly to Asia to meet with both managers and company management as part of his due diligence. His investment due diligence approach is centered around a granular review of current and historical holdings utilizing public filings, company presentations and industry data to perform his own fundamental research with which to create an informed, intelligent view of a manager’s approach and investment process. While he has spent the last 8 years in senior investment roles in the fund of funds industry he spent the previous 11 years as CIO of a NY based family office where he managed a global, multi-asset class portfolio. Over the years, Chris has developed and cultivated a broad network of relationships with family offices, private wealth managers and institutional investors globally. During his career, he has also been quite active in continuing education at the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA), founding and chairing the Value Investing Committee and co-founding/co-chairing the Private Wealth Management Committee at NYSSA.
