Chris is an Associate at Loeb Partners Corporation, the investment banking and registered broker dealer business of Loeb Holding Corporation, one of the last remaining privately held independent investment banking enterprises on Wall Street. At Loeb, Chris works on a combination of traditional investment banking mandates and principal investment opportunities ranging from early and growth stage companies to profitable middle market businesses and alternative investment funds.
Prior to joining Loeb Partners, Chris attended the full time MBA Program at New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, from which he graduated with specializations in Accounting, Corporate Finance and Financial Instruments and Markets. Prior to attending Stern, Chris worked as a Corporate Legal Assistant for Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in their Financial Institution’s Group. In this role, Chris worked on teams for a broad array of transactions, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Debt Offerings and Takeover Defense. Chris also interned with several asset management companies both in the U.S and abroad.
Chris was raised in the suburbs of Zurich, Switzerland, and grew up tri-lingual, speaking Swiss German, German and English. He graduated from the University of Zurich with a Bachelor of Law and holds a Swiss Federal Matura. Chris also served in the Swiss Armed Forces.
