Christine Zapotoczky Kelleher is a managing director with Avec Capital, a boutique firm providing outsourced marketing and business development services to alternative asset managers. At Avec, Christine is responsible for investment sourcing and due diligence and for guiding the firm in anticipating investors’ allocation priorities. She is an experienced institutional portfolio manager who brings a global perspective to asset allocation and risk management, previously serving as senior investment officer for Georgetown University overseeing the school’s endowment and retirement plan. She received a BA in international relations and Russian from Bucknell University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and with honors, and holds MAs in Russian and East European studies and in Central European history from Georgetown University. Christine serves as an executive officer of the Bucknell University Alumni Association Board of Directors and as a member of the investment committee of the YWCA National Capital Area. She resides in Washington, DC with her husband and son. She holds Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses with FINRA.
