Prior to McKinsey, I drove a product and cross-functional go-to-market team at SmartThings, a home automation pioneer as part our acquisition by Samsung. Prior to SmartThings, I was an operating partner at Technology Crossover Ventures, a $10B growth-stage venture capital firm. At TCV, I worked with the firm's portfolio companies and evaluated investments in SaaS and consumer Internet.
Prior to TCV, I led the rapidly-growing global business marketing team at LinkedIn across Talent Solutions, Marketing Solutions, and Sales Solutions, to more than $3B in revenue. Earlier, I was CEO and Co-Founder of Optify, a pioneer in hosted, easy-to-use marketing automation software. Optify was acquired by Marketo (MKTO).
Before starting Optify I was a product manager in the Skype for Business group at Microsoft, one of the company's first subscription services and a member of the launch team for Office 365. I started my career at McKinsey & Company. I'm an active media and startup investor, board member and advisor.
