Mr. Ross graduated from Brown University in 1995 with a double major in Economics and Sociology. He received Magna, Phi Beta Kappa, and Honors. Starting his career at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman), Mr. Ross next joined MediaOne's newly formed Strategy Group. He left there to join Ticketmaster, in Product Management. Mr. Ross has run a number of companies. He served as President of ReserveAmerica, the world's largest outdoor recreation reservation company employing 600 people across North America. He served as President & CEO of Fanfare Media Works, a private equity-backed turnaround of the world's largest provider of in-supermarket advertising on register tape and shopping carts. Mr. Ross also served as President & CEO at Razorgator, a privately held ticketing company backed by Kleiner Perkins, Oak Investment Partners, and Steamboat Ventures. In 2008, Mr. Ross founded Ross Asset Advisors, which has since developed a specialty in private debt. Mr. Ross believes that private debt represents a uniquely attractive asset class, of which business loans are its most attractive segment. Direct Lending Investments, LLC, and the Direct Lending Income Fund are outgrowths of this focus on business loans.
