Aris Hatch has substantial experience developing and building successful private equity fundraising programs and client service teams. She is a Vice President at HarbourVest responsible for institutional client development in North America. Prior to joining HarbourVest, she was CAO and Vice President of Client Services at Rock Maple Funds, a New York-based asset manager with a Venture Fund in Boston and fund of hedge fund in New York. Aris led the Client Service Group, all fundraising and marketing activities for the firm. There she established the firm's marketing initiatives, launched new fund offerings, developed framework for an LSE listed fund, and managed FSA and SEC registration processes. Firm assets doubled in two years. She joined Rock Maple from Advent International’s Limited Partner Services Group where she had specific responsibility to the company’s North American investors. From 2000 to 2004, she helped raise over $2 billion of Advent’s then $6 billion under management. Previously, she held positions as a Communication Strategist and Marketing Manager for Ernst &Young LLP. Her expertise lies in market segmentation and institutional fundraising, strategic market positioning and messaging for alternative asset vehicles and effective communication campaigns. She has managed both SEC and FSA registration processes and is an FSA authorized solicitor. She achieved her degree cum laude from Wellesley College with a B.A. in English complemented by a focus in Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
