Most recently Anne was the Vice President, Investment Management at AARP. For nearly ten years ending late 2015, Anne was at American Red Cross where she was Deputy Chief Investment Officer at the time of her departure. Throughout her nearly ten-year tenure at American Red Cross Anne was responsible for the alternative investments, leading the team managing hedge funds and all types of non-marketable investments including private equity, distressed debt, real estate, and real assets. Anne was previously Director of Absolute Return at Cornell University. Prior to joining Cornell, Anne worked at McKinsey in the Corporate Finance and Strategy Practice. Anne has a bachelor’s degree with distinction in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA with distinction in finance and marketing from New York University Stern School of Business. Anne is a CFA charterholder and is active in the CFA Society of Washington DC, where she has served as a board member, and currently serves on the finance committee and programming committee. Anne serves on the board, finance committee and investment committee of YWCA National Capital Area.
