Albert Rosano joined Vance Hall Capital Management in 2005. Prior to Vance Hall, Albert was a Portfolio Manager/Analyst at Circle T Partners, an Analyst at Atlantic Investment Management, and an Analyst at Lazard Asset Management. From Q4’2009 to Q3’2012, Mr. Rosano managed the Vance Hall Capital Credit Opportunities Strategy, with a focus on distressed and stressed credits, to a cumulitave return of +56.0% versus +19.8% for the S&P Barclays High Yield ETF over the same period. From Q1’2005 to Q2’2008, Mr. Rosano managed the Vance Hall Capital Fund, a long/short concentrated equity hedge fund, with a focus on industrials/transportation/energy/utilities, to a cumulative return of +20.9% (net of all fees) versus +7.7% for the S&P 500 over the same period. Business Building Skills: Prepared all financial statements, investor reporting, and tax reporting. Raised capital from sophisticated institutions, endowments, and hedge funds. Excellent managerial skills: Organized on-shore fund, established relationships with leading banks and prime brokers (Goldman, Bear, JP Morgan). Negotiated JV with $1 billion hedge fund for turn-key access to top-tier back-office, including CFO, COO, Legal, Accounting, and IT. Vance Hall Capital Management has managed concentrated, highly researched portfolios throughout it’s history. Areas of strength include: Real Estate, Energy, Financials, Transportation, Infrastructure, and Public and Private investment opportunities. In an advisory capacity, Vance Hall has worked with Family Offices on portfolio construction, financial structuring, real asset and real estate investments, and tax optimization strategies. Mr. Rosano holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (2001), a BS in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (1993), and a BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania (1993).
