Bengaluru-based online learning platform Unacademy Wednesday said it has closed a USD 50 million (about Rs 345 crore) funding round from Steadview Capital, Sequoia India, Nexus Venture Partners and Blume Ventures. The series D round also saw participation from Aakrit Vaish (Haptik co-founder and CEO) and Sujeet Kumar (co-Founder, Udaan) along with Unacademy founders Gaurav Munjal and Roman Saini, a statement said. The investment will be used to onboard more educators, fuel growth across multiple exam categories and build a world-class product and team, it added.
