Federico Kaune was named managing director and head of emerging markets debt at UBS Global Asset Management, said spokesman Azar Boehm to Pensions & Investments. 

Mr. Kaune, based in Chicago, replaces Uwe Schillhorn, who has left the firm to pursue other opportunities. Further information on Mr. Schillhorn’s plans could not be learned by press time.

Mr. Kaune was previously senior portfolio manager at wealth manager Baffin Advisors.
