Top Aussie hedge fund manager banned for market manipulation Submitted 22/09/2021 - 9:10am The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has banned Dylan Christopher Rands, of Sydney, NSW, from providing financial services for five years after finding he engaged in market manipulation. Rands was a former dealer and portfolio manager at AUD2 billion hedge fund group Regal Funds Management Pty Ltd (Regal). As part of his portfolio-manager role, Rands managed trading in Clearview Wealth Limited shares, which were held in several Regal funds.
