The analysts at Jefferies have compiled a list of stocks shorted by hedge funds which lack liquidity and could see what they call “outsized moves”. The GameStop saga, which has seen retail investors execute a so-called short squeeze on funds shorting the video game retailer, has led to the targeting of other stocks heavily shorted by hedge funds.
