<p>Ridgemont Equity Partners combined Cortel Inc. and TowerCom Technologies LLC, two telecommunications infrastructure companies serving the Western U.S., to form J5 Infrastructure Partners, reports LBO Wire’s Laura Cooper.</p>
<p>Charlotte, N.C.-based Ridgemont invested in the newly formed company alongside SR Capital Advisors. J5 Infrastructure, of Irvine, Calif., will offer services such as site acquisition, permitting, zoning, structural engineering and equipment installation to customers that include four major U.S. wireless carriers.</p>
