The Monetary Authority of Singapore Partners with JP Morgan, Temasek on Blockchain based Payments  Crowdfund Insider. : The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is partnering with JP Morgan Chase (NYSE:JPM) and Temasek on a blockchain-based payments platform that is capable of handling different currencies. JP Morgan has previously announced the development of an in-house crypto labeled JPM Coin. The eventual goal is to develop a system based on central bank-issued digital tokens or Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). The prototype network is said to have the potential to improve cost efficiencies for businesses.
