International money transfer start-up WorldRemit is worth a rumoured $500 million (£320 million) after raising $100 million (£64.5 million) earlier this year, big numbers for a European start-up. Founder Ismail Ahmed sat down with me at MoneyConf in Belfast to explain why the business is worth that much and it all comes down to one thing — mobile money.
