The firm has been boosted with a £2.2m investment round led by the Development Bank of Wales. : Semiconductor venture Kubos is relocating to Wales following a £2.2m equity round investment boost. The business, which is relocating to Cardiff from Cambridge is developing a new compound semiconducter material. The investment round was led by the Development Bank of Wales with £670,000, alongside Dr Drew Nelson, the founder and former chief executive of one leading Welsh tech business IQE, the Angels Invest Wales Co-Investment Fund and business angels – together with an Innovate UK (IUK) £700,000 grant.
