Close on the heels of announcing a partnership with Tages Capital for management of one of Tages’ UCITS-compliant long/short credit funds, P. Schoenfeld Asset Management (PSAM) has named former TIG Advisors executive John McVeigh as a deputy portfolio manager of U.S. merger arbitrage.  McVeigh brings more than 12 years of investment experience in merger-related situations to PSAM, the company said in a statement.
