Discussions in December 2017 point to a number of discussions we will be watching in 2018. In particular, HLPF 2018 will assess progress on a sub-set of SDGs: SDG 6 (clean water and sanitation); SDG 7 (affordable and clean energy); SDG 11 (sustainable cities and communities); SDG 12 (responsible consumption and production); SDG 15 (life on land); and SDG 17 (partnerships for the Goals). We are also tracking efforts to frame the challenges and opportunities around SDG linkages, and to give gender equality valuable space on the agenda and to maximize opportunities for linkages while aligning with other frameworks.
