ATLANTA—Piedmont Office Realty Trust has bought an office tower and a 1.5 acre development parcel within The Galleria in northwest Atlanta. The purchase price was $95.1 million. The 500,000-square-foot office development in the West Midtown submarket along the 17th Street corridor, will consist of two distinct buildings. A 17-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, Lies joined Gazit Horizons at its inception in 2017, most recently serving as senior vice president.
