The Private Equity, Venture Capital investments during the quarter ended September has weakened compared to the same quarter of previous year. At $6.7 billion, quarterly PE/VC investments declined by 23 per cent on a Year-on-Year basis in the third quarter of the year compared to $8.7 million during the same period last year. This is also the most under-performing quarter in 2018 both in terms of investments and exits, according the EY India Private Equity Deal Tracker.
