<p>Allan O'Dette, an experienced business executive and entrepreneur, has been named Ontario's first Chief Investment Officer.</p>
<p>O'Dette has extensive experience in the private sector and will be leading the recently established Ontario Investment Office (OIO). The OIO helps businesses looking to invest and expand in the province by providing tax incentives and strategic analysis. O’Dette has served on numerous public and not-for-profit boards and committees. He was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his contributions to his community, and his philanthropic and volunteer activities.</p>
