New Mexico State Investment Council, Santa Fe, committed $300 million to three alternative investment funds at its meeting Tuesday, said Charles Wollmann, spokesman for the $20.5 billion endowment to Pensions & Investments.

The council committed $150 million to its first international core real estate fund, Invesco (IVZ) Asia Real Estate Fund, an open-end fund managed by Invesco Real Estate.

The council also committed $75 million to Coller International Partners VII, managed by Coller Capital, a private equity firm that invests on the secondary market. The council has made commitments to previous Coller funds.

The council also committed $75 million to private equity fund EQT VII. The fund will invest in medium to large companies in Northern and Central Europe. EQT is a new relationship.
