Eric Sheridan is leaving UBS, where he was a managing director in equity research covering the US internet and interactive entertainment sector, according to a source familiar with the move. A nine-year veteran of UBS, Sheridan covered 17 companies in internet advertising; e-commerce; online travel; social networking; and video games. A spokesperson for Goldman Sachs confirmed Sheridan's hire as a tech analyst focusing on internet companies. He will start in July.
