Lee Equity Partners is selling WealthTrust to HighTower. According to the buyer, the transaction will increase its client assets to nearly $46 billion. Although the exact financial terms were not disclosed, HighTower funded the acquisition through a $75 million expansion of its credit facility to $245 million led by BMO Harris and lenders Regions Bank, Fifth Third Bank and KeyBank.
