He launched a new firm in London yesterday, and it's hiring now. Whether Lawson will scoop up any of his former DB friends is open to question, though. "I will be recruiting ex-fund of fund analysts and people with hedge fund asset raising experience," he says, adding that hiring will be taking place imminently, "as we have business from the get-go."
